National Infertility Awareness Week

APRIL 23-29, 2023

(Eatontown, New Jersey, 2023) – Reproductive Science Center of New Jersey will join RESOLVE: The National Infertility AssociationWoman with a megaphone calling out #Find Your Voice for National Infertility Awareness Week 2023 | Reproductive Science Center of New Jersey to recognize National Infertility Awareness Week, April 23-29, 2023. We will find our voice, talk about the issues facing this community, and continue to support those most in need fighting the disease of infertility.

RESOLVE

National Infertility Awareness Week (NIAW) is a movement that began in 1989. The goal of NIAW is to raise awareness about the disease of infertility and encourage the public to understand the many challenges to reproductive health.

RESOLVE founded this movement and continues to work with the professional family building community, corporate partners and the media to:

  1. Ensure that people trying to conceive know the guidelines for when to see a specialist when they are trying to conceive.
  2. Enhance public understanding that infertility is a disease that needs and deserves attention.
  3. Educate legislators about the disease of infertility and how it impacts people in their state.

In 2010 National Infertility Awareness Week became a federally recognized health observance by the Department of Health & Human Services.

Empowering YOU to Change the Conversation

Empowering YOU to Change the Conversation is the theme RESOLVE uses to raise awareness about the significant lack of access to family building options and emotional support for millions of women and men struggling to build a family. This year, they encourage you to #FindYourVoice, whether you are a professional, patient or want to support someone you know with infertility. NIAW is the largest public awareness campaign that addresses the public health issue of infertility.

As the public discourse around infertility is at an all-time high, we’d like to highlight the issues important to the millions of Americans struggling to build a family. Infertility does not discriminate based on sex, race, religion, age or even socio-economic status. Let’s uncover the issues of access facing the most vulnerable members of our community — those without access to insurance coverage for infertility care or the economic means to pay out-of-pocket for treatments, third-party options or adoption. And let’s get real about the support needed to resolve infertility.

Reproductive Science Center of New Jersey’s experienced staff of doctors, nurses and technicians fully understands the difficult emotional and medical challenges that confront patients struggling with infertility. Our fertility center combines a commitment to sensitive, comprehensive care with a state-of-the-art program of the latest infertility treatments, ranging from in vitro fertilization (IVF) and artificial insemination to drug therapies.
