Reproductive Science Center of New Jersey (RSCNJ) joins RESOLVE: The National Infertility Association is applauding the passage of the MilCon-VA bill funding The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) to cover the cost of reproductive services for wounded veterans. Services include IVF for vets who have suffered service-related injuries that effect their ability to grow or start a family as well as adoption assistance services.Fertility Coverage for Wounded Vets

The legislation, called the Military Construction, Veterans Affairs, and Related Agencies (MilCon-VA) Appropriations Bill, has been a long time coming, involving the work of several organizations and many individuals. Dr. William Ziegler, Medical Director at RSCNJ, is excited about what the passage of this bill means for reproductive medicine.

“We at the Reproductive Science Center of New Jersey applaud the passage of the MilCon-VA appropriations bill,” says Dr. Ziegler. “For those that give so much of their time and risk their own lives to protect our families, it is only right to provide our Veterans the opportunity to build their own family through reproductive treatments or adoption.”
